

Erwan Frotin was born in 1978 in Toulon, France.
He is Franco-Swiss, graduated from the ECAL in Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2002 and has since then been active as a photographer and artist. Erwan’s creations inflect his manifold aesthetic explorations of image making. His commission pieces include photography for various magazines, advertising clients and institutions. Erwan is also an enthusiastic astrologer, an excellent botanist and animal lover, a photography lecturer at the ECAL, a vibrant dancer and a clumsy scuba diver.

He has created editorial photography for French Vogue, Vogue Hommes International, Wallpaper, The New York Times Magazine, Another Man, Libération, House & Garden, Intersection, and Dazed and Confused. His advertising clients include Asprey, Hermès, Bergdorf Goodman, Louis Vuitton, Tsumori Chisato, Sketch and Adidas.
