A respect for the environment and goal of sustainability are fundamental to Zuccardi winery. From its founding in 1963, the winemaker has devised natural systems for the growing of vines, and has worked organically since 1998. Today, a third of its properties are certified as being organic. This approach results in a completely natural product, maximising on the potential of the vineyard’s fruit, as well as protecting the environment.
The nose is complex with notes of ripe fruits, figs, prunes, jam and raisins. In the mouth, it is full bodied with sweet tannins, well balanced against the acidity.
