The Grivot family has been making wine since the 18th century. After studying in France and California, Etienne Grivot concluded that the most important thing was to respect the soil’s balance, the natural properties of the grapes and the right harvesting dates, as well as natural processes of maceration and fermentation. In short, his principle goal was to do all he could to make the wine as fine, rich and full as possible, for now and for long-term aging, and, most importantly, a pleasure to drink.
