Bathed in golden sunshine, basking in welcome heat and enjoying the long evenings, summer has a magical way of making us see everything from a fresh perspective.

With this in mind, Chuangyilife.com have dedicated this newsletter to new beginnings, perhaps the most poignant of which was made possible through a recent fundraiser we organised for Angel Mom foundation at the Switzerland National Pavilion of 2010 Expo. This extraordinary group of parents raise funds and awareness for sick children and orphans, opening the door to a better future. The event was a success through and through, and we’d like to extend a big thank you to all of our supporters.

A very different kind of new beginning has been made possible by design duo, Jellymon. The pair has revived a classic Shanghai brand into something smart, elegant and full of life. The city’s luxury hotel scene is also undergoing new changes and fresh starts – in the form of the soon-to-be-opened Venu Himalaya Hotel, as well as a new designer shopping destination within the Peninsula Hotel.
